Feb 15 2007 I finally finished the 1 bedroom renovation project. Wow it looks like a million bucks. New paint, lino, carpets, tub surround, electrical and light fixtures. What a difference. I had to boot out the needle pushing dope heads that were living there when I acquired the building. The suite was a stinking pig sty of squalor. Imagine four adults slumming it in a one bedroom unit. The smoking had turned the white ceiling paint turd brown. I swear I will never to rent to another smoker ever again as long as I live. What a nasty filthy gross stupid habit. I rented the suite to a nice single Polish lady that will be paying higher rent than the four scum bags. My friends call me the slumlord for fun but in reality fixing places up will bring in more rent and attracts higher quality tenants.
