You might think that paying for rent with a bum cheque or failing to pay rent and stealing your accommodation is a criminal offense, after all failing to pay for a meal is a criminal offense. The cops will just laugh at you and mutter something about it being a civil matter. The justice system is unfairly stacked against landlords!!!
